Cruise Weekly Advertising

Cruise Weekly is produced on Tuesday and Thursday right through the year, except for NSW public holidays and a short break over the Christmas/New Year period. The Tuesday “consumer” edition is circulated by email to an estimated 40,000 cruise aficionados across Australia and the globe, with the special Thursday “trade update” edition targeting travel agents and the cruise industry.

The publication is noted for timely, accurate reporting. Advertising produces immediate results and is seen as the most cost-effective way to promote to cruise lovers and the cruise industry.

Cruise Weekly consists of a number of A4 pages carrying news stories, photographs and advertising, distributed in Adobe Acrobat PDF format via email. The pages are generally divided into three columns and advertisements can be one, two or three columns wide. Full-page advertisements are also accepted as attachments.

Product advertising

A number of cruise lines, industry suppliers and other organisations promote their products to cruisers and the cruise industry using Cruise Weekly. Special deals, new products, sales promotions, industry services and other items are advertised each day and produce strong results for advertisers.

Job advertising

Because the Thursday “trade update” edition of Cruise Weekly is read by people across the cruise industry it’s the ideal place to advertise jobs in cruising – such as cruise specialist travel consultants, cruise sales staff and many other cruise industry roles. Advertising is very affordable and because the newsletter is highly targeted it sees high quality job applicants responding to vacancies. Jobs advertised within the newsletter are also featured on our website for two weeks at no extra cost.

Website advertising

The Cruise Weekly website is a popular source of information for cruisers, containing content such as photos, videos, a cruise calendar and the ability to search back issues. Because of Cruise Weekly’s very strong readership, the newsletter drives traffic to the website, meaning it should be a vital part of the online strategy of any business involved in the cruise industry.
