AMERICAN Cruise Line will receive 10 new ships in three years, as the company announces an agreement for four more newbuilds with Chesapeake Shipbuilding.
The 10 new ships will start to be delivered this month, with American Legend having recently passed sea trials.
The line’s newest Coastal Cat is now on schedule for her first departure on 25 Nov.
The remaining vessels on order will roll out every few months over the next three years, and will include a trio of riverboats, and six additional coastal ships.
Now available for booking are American Patriot and American Pioneer (2025); American Maverick and American Ranger (2026), and new riverboat American Encore (2026).
The company will operate 21 small ships across the US next year and has introduced 19 of the last 24 US river ships built over the past 20 years.
