CARNIVAL Cruise Line (CCL) has pushed back the start of its new Carnival Rewards program, which will now kick off 01 Sep 2026 – three months after the original launch date.
According to a recent announcement via email to members, the postponement will give cruisers more time to reach a higher final VIFP Club loyalty status, with those who achieve Diamond tier by 31 Aug 2026 able to keep that status for life.
All others will also have their VIFP status as of 31 Aug matched in the new program, with that status to last through to 31 Dec 2028.
The latest update on the program comes just a few months after CCL made changes to its earning structure, following criticism from customers (CW 16 Sep).
