US-BASED group travel specialist Vantage Deluxe World Travel is adding a second five-star small ship to its fleet, with Ocean Odyssey set to launch in 2022.
The 162-guest small ship will be a follow-up to sister ship Ocean Explorer, announced earlier this year, with the cruise line promising it will be fitted to visit all seven continents, with the ship to be polar code 6-compliant, and fitted with a Ulstein X-Bow.
Itineraries will include northern Australia, as well as Borneo, the Coral Triangle and Komodo, with the ship to also offer 15 solo-designated cabins, which Vantage Travel is calling a “first” for the cruise industry.
Among the ships’ other features will be 17 staterooms and suites, featuring private walk-out verandas; a free concierge service which can be utilised before and during the cruise; beer and wine included at dinner; stone boiling and inland overnight excursions.
Suite guests will also receive complimentary Business class or Premium Economy flight upgrades, among other perks.
