COSTA Pacifica has become the third cruise
vessel to alter its course to avoid the escalating
conflict in Israel and the Gaza strip, ditching calls in
Ashdod and Haifa (21 and 22 Nov respectively)
for calls in Santorini and Rhodes in Greece.
Earlier this week Oceania Cruises also
signaled plans to scrap Nautica’s two overnight
stops in Ashdod and Haifa (19-22 November)
for calls in Athens, Mykonos, and Rhodes in
Greece and Limassol, Cyprus; whilst last week
Norwegian Jade cancelled its call in Ashdod
and stayed longer in Haifa instead.
