Ponant Yachting’s fleet will total three by the end of next year.
Ponant Explorations Group is unveiling a new brand, Ponant Yachting, which will house the cruise line’s catamaran fleet.
The new brand will operate the Spirit of Ponant and La Desirade vessels, with the company to also order a third ship, Spirit of Ponant II, set to arrive late next year.
Spirit of Ponant II will operate in French Polynesia, and like her fleetmates, will house around 10 guests.
“The launch of our new brand, Ponant Yachting…combines the intimate experience of sailing with the sophisticated and personalised services of Ponant Explorations Group voyages,” the company’s Chief Executive Officer Herve Gastinel said.
“This strengthens our unique portfolio of brands in the cruise industry.”
Ponant Yachting joins the company’s other three commercial brands: Ponant Explorations, Paul Gauguin Cruises, and Aqua Expeditions.
