THE vast array of dining options on board Scenic Eclipse include cuisines from 14 nations and 10 unique dining experiences ranging from causal to fine dining.
“We have a total of 2,500 recipes…you would need to be on board for one-and-a-half months to eat every dish,” claims Executive Chef for Scenic Eclipse Tom Goetter.
Scenic said they were ahead of the game when it comes to food, with Goetter commenting, “we have a lot of toys in the kitchen which I believe other cruise ship companies are not using yet”, these include dehydrators, oven smokers and even an onboard Urban Cultivator herb garden.
There are eight restaurants that cater for a range of tastes, including Yacht Club – a poolside grill and buffet & bar, Lumiere – a contemporary French dining & champagne bar, and Koko’s which serves a range of Asian fusion dishes and also boasts a sake bar.
Other culinary extras include 24-hour in-suite dining available and a dedicated cooking school.
